Ch. 01: Side Story 1

I know you all have been restless for more releases. To tide you over we are releasing the first chapter of the side story originally published in Taiwan’s Apple Daily in March of 2006. There are a total of two side story chapters. It takes place several years before the main series starts during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. You may wish to browse through Wikipedia’s article on the subject before you read the chapter.

The main character in this chapter is a man that hasn’t been introducted in our scanlation yet (except for a cameo on the last page of chapter 45, volume 6). He is called Laoda, which is more of a title than a name. It’s slang for “boss” in a gang-type group, which should give you some sort of clue to Laoda’s character.
